Al, re: This is a scandal of watergate proportions, and the "press" is talking about CBS and who got fired. I am disgusted. I agree. We're both older than most folks on this thread. Remember the press in our day? Investigative, suspicious, willing to go into the jungle with the troops? Now, it seems they just read press releases from the WH. I don't know if they are cowed by these guys or don't have the resources. But they are not the check on power that they used to be. It seems like everybody is afraid of the Bush admin... the Dems, the Press, even the good Reps. What's up with that? John
