Which is guaranteed, unless the federal government goes under? You're totally missing the point. If you were to tell me that I will have no savings when I turn 70, and I have either a near-100% chance of getting $20K/yr to retire on or a 70% chance making somewhat more, but a 30% chance of making less (and I'm making super-generous), I'm pickin' the 20K. -Z
