I may reply to some of this later. For now, I just want to point out that you are misunderstanding my entire response. I an neither advocating (at this point) nor criticising the Southern alternative. I was simply pointing out the principles behind some of the extreme opinions and "arguments". For instance...I was not preaching socialism as an "argument". I was simply acknowledging another view. For the record, I am a Capitalist...a pragmatic Capitalist... As for Canadian medicine, you might look up Sir William Osler, Dr. Bethune, Wilder Penfield, the discovery of "pablum", open heart surgery, mobile blood units, Bethune rib Shears, etc. John Hopkins owes much to the great William Osler. But I digress... Once again...I was giving a general summary of some of the opinions involved and the principles that inform them. Carry on, Doctor.
