Even if you can create a playlist, it's not like you are going to remember where you are in a list with 240 tunes. Unless you have a photographic memory.

I still think they'll sell a fair amount. Conceptually the random function is sort of like setting up your own radio station, where you have had no choice of the selections either, except you can customize the playlist. No stupid DJs no advertisements.

Radio is where one place where one used to be able to find new stuff of interest but it's gotten so bland it really sucks now. I even find public radio to be tame and bland. The DJs are just bureaucrats who have ensconced themselves into their own, inbred, tenured jobs.

I can see where people would prefer this over radio. Pod casting might get really big this way. But how do you push tunes without giving them away?
