TSNG Boom or Bust

Duke,

Well it is good to see this old discussion group on TSNG still has some life in it. When times were bad, and they still are, this group was pretty silent. Now TSNG has for some unknown reason rose a point to $5. Hum, I wrote to this forum back in December or January (#11 of this thread) about one of my off the wall predictions that TSNG would begin a recovery around September. If I remember what I wrote correctly, it was that the stock would either begin to recover around September or drop through the floor in September. My prediction was based a good deal of study of the industry and on TSNG releasing a new 3D technology. Today I see some type of price movement but I still don't see the 3D technology.

Microsoft had, or has, an interest in the TSNG technology for Mr. Gates' web TV but here again talk is cheap. I don't know who Mr. Tergis is, but I read his comments and he seems to have a grip on the up's and down's of the video chip industry. Even if the ET-6300 is the best super neat-o chip around (whenever it hits the market) it is not always the best that climbs to be the vendor of choice of PC makers. Who has been playing golf with whom (Dentists/Doctors or not) has a lot to do with who sells the most chips. In short I am elated that TSNG is moving on up but the road is full of potholes. When I bought TSNG it had $50 million in cash and now it has $30 million. How long can this go on without supporting sales of the new technology? After commissions I can come out of this thing with 25% over eight months and that is reasonable but not as reasonable as 100% or 200%. Hang on or drop out is the question for me.

What is giving the stock a shot in the arm? Is it TSNG buying shares back? Dunno about that. Is insider trading pushing the price? That could be but the only information I have on insider trading is on the sell side and the information is a month old. I don't see any insider trades in 97.

06/03/96 KARSCH, MARK H CFO Sell 10000 11.750 Remaining 200
05/10/96 TSENG, JACK & FAY PR Sell 151700 10.375 Remaining 4233812
02/14/96 DORFMAN, MARK DIR Buy 4000 10.375

I wrote this forum before and predicted this would be the time for a recovery in TSNG and for some unknown reason the stock is recovering. I'll probably hang on to it for $6 or $7 because of greed but I know I should get while the getting is good.
