LOL. Don't you know that the US economy created 2.2 million non-farm jobs in 2004?

BTW, if manufacturing jobs are falling faster in Japan, Brazil and China (or globally) than in the US, as that article says, doesn't that indicate that US manufacturing labor is faring BETTER than the ROW? Is your complaint trade or advances in production technology? Neo-Luddite?
