Good idea but would Samsung want a division running on last generation processes? BTW, what generation process is Samsung making flash on? Where are there FABS? What are their costs to make flash vs AMD and Intels? Don't know and don't know and don't care. The bigger point is that AMD will be out of flash. The sad part is that at one time (few years ago) they could have got premium pricing for it, but now... Which may be a reason that Ruiz may want to keep it for a bit till performance can be turned around- but that's the problem- this is inherently destined to be a commodity and rapidly becomming more and more so.
