I know a lie when I read or hear it. Don't even bother on this issue.

There is one thing and one thing only that the right cares about, and that is corporate profits. They don't care about America, its people, their alleged faith, nothing. Towards that end the leaders on the right play games of three card monte with their gullible followers, convincing them that oppression is freedom, job losses are indicative of prosperity, and endless debt the result of wise stewardship.
