Yes, the Shuffle lacks a display, but that's a design choice that makes sense within the context of a very inexpensive, very small mp3 player that also offers decent capacity for the price. In a related story, environmentalists are picketing Apple for contributing to the problem of electronic waste. I think that by using rechargeable batteries with all iPods, they are actually helping more than they are hurting. (Though I do think they could improve their recycling policies for old equipment. You should be able to take any old Apple product back to any Apple store for recycling. It would make a lot of sense from a marketing standpoint.) - Allen
