The stock market went up significantly out of August and Oct of 2004...

Most Likely driven by fund managers trying to secure a good bonus for a year that was extremely difficulty to trade. For them... taking profits off the shelf at this time would be a high probability. Where they put that money to work is a good question...?

Looking at the chart for that period we can see that the price is responding to the green median line and the faster it moves higher and away from that line will tell us if the selling is completed.

Looking lower we see the 0.382 and the blue lower tine as a possible target if the green doesn't hold....

Wouldn't you agree... No serious damage is done to the chart so far...!
