You don't see any conflict with the person in charge of the election in a state also being in charge of one of the campaigns? This is the most repugnant things about republicans. They would be screaming bloody murder if Sam Reed was a Democrat and in Charge of Gregoire's campaign and had certified the election. In Ohio we can see a long list of improprieties. Some of them were fostered in an orchestrated fashion by republican party officials, vote counting equipment companies and their CEOs. No wonder it's the first time that the electoral college has been challenged and debated in the Congress. Plenty of problems were found. But sweep them under the carpet...don't look there.
