Wu doesn't know what the heck he's talking about. And to think analysts like Wu are paid big bucks for gibberish. If he'd take the time to read Apple's qtrly report, he'd see that 97.6% of the additional 210k CPU's sold were sold outside the Americas while the majority of the iPod sales were to the US. From what I can guess, more than 50% of iPods were sold within the US. If there were a halo effect, wouldn't and shouldn't there have been proportionately at least 50% of the increase in CPU's sales to the US? Ya, sure, the halo effect is taking place. If you wait long enough, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to see the Sun getting dimmer and dimmer as it exhausts its fuel.
