Ed - This is from the Aug. 8, 1997 issue of "Red Chip Review": "JMAR's most significant development project is focused on the manufacture of semiconductors requiring circuit feature sized of 0.18 microns and below. The company could be ready to demonstrate by late 3Q97, a quarter behind our prior expectations, that its laser-plasma picosecond x-ray source (PXS) can process wafers at commercial rates. If successful, JMAR will produce x-ray lithography point sources for integration with steppers to be sold by semiconductor equipment manufacturers starting in 1998." [Shouldn't it say SOLD TO - not sold BY??? I copied this as it was printed.] I'm still looking for the source that says there's a market for 700 lithography systems per year world-wide.
