We have Whole Foods here.. Plus about 5 health food stores. In North Carolina we have Earthfare and about 5 health food stores so I am not wanting.

A story. We had a farm where my father used pesticides. All those that are banned now. No one knew it was harmful..
We ate what he sprayed not knowing ... ignorance is bliss. He died with a rare form of leukemia.

I had a home in the Virgin Islands and used Chlordane straight from the bottle pouring it all around the foundation of the house for termites which were insidious down there. They would creep into a shed and eat the handles off the rakes and hoes...etc...

I also used Malathion on trees spraying for insects..
When I did this I always felt ill afterward and could never connect that the Malathion was causing me to be dizzy and ill.

There was a time when DDT was sprayed on public streets in a wealthy section of a town in which I lived. We used to open the windows to let the fog spray in as it was deemed a good thing to kill any bugs.. ( 1956 was the year )

How foolish we were.

When my Dad passed on he left DDT... Chlordane and all the harmful chemicals in gallon jugs in the garage. I had to take them to Hazardous Disposal. Now the year is 1992..
