Vote no split and yes combine stocks This is a no-brainer IMO. The semis have been hammered for years and Agere needs new products. Why is this not happening? They build the new HQ building to look good but this isn't making things better. They sold all of their LU in the 401K management back in December 2004 which was a good thing since LU is going nowhere fast. Just my 2 cents... HTH
