So true, M~... I've never understood why people build in some of the places they do either. Maybe people think that bad things always happen to "someone else"...until, one day, it happens to them. In the La Conchita case, evidently the hill has had a serious slide or two along the years as well. Some humans are very slow to learn, aren't they?
