<<Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people who registered for three to 10 shares of free stock, and promptly forgot about it, are out of luck.

Out of about 700,000 registrations for free stock in 1998, only slightly more than 130,000 people took the steps required to receive shares in Travelzoo after it became a Delaware corporation. Of those who did receive tradable shares, Bartel said, it's unclear how many are still waiting to sell. >>

I did not do squat until a short time ago....but I got my certs without a problem...I also read that due to many people not realizing tzoo was at $100 a share and had split 2 for 1 as well until after their deadline, too many people raised cain and the company made it right for many..there was news article on that as well...but, I saw tzoo nipping at $100 a short while ago and simply went to their site, plugged in my info..it said I had 30 shares ( shouldn't I have had 60 if it split 2 for 1? hmmmm) and I printed the request for stock cert form, sent it in, had my certs ( 1 cert for 30 shares) within 2 or 3 weeks, went to my local broker and signed cert over to them, sold and had them write me a check....
