Mr. James....you're excused...it was still a Hoot!! Perhaps you're too young to remember Johnny Raye...he was a unique singer in the 50s whose most famous song was titled "Cry". Hadnt heard it in years until Nanny tugged on your chain and and you wailed as though the mention of an investigation was something here-to-fore unmentioned on this thread ; then Mo Dog joined in for the chorus. Just so that in the future you cannot claim that none of the nasty e-mails were ever shared with you may i share with you an e-mail received just 2 hours ago from the lovely and talented Ivan Lustig of NY....Quote: Count Whatever: Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that anytime you and your alter-ego, Nanny, want to sue me. Lets get it on girl! You might scare some of the poor stiffs on SI. (sic) But you and your little contingency don't scare me. BTW, hows the wife? Chin chi to go go fu? Five dolla, Joe? I live in court. Im looking forward to it. Unquote. Sent 9/1/97 by Ivan Lustig@worldnet.att.net One of the few totally believable statements he ever made is the one about living in court. Very believable and very sad. Also very believable to join the ranks of lonely, bitter old men whose mouths write checks that their personages cant cash . On the other hand a fella who doesnt forget to ask about your wife is just the kind of fella you want to meet in-person someday. Oh, yes. . Anyway Mr James, I think that over the long-haul most observers feel that you have been a reasonable and interesting person even though, like me, you dont contribute substantively to the research which is the raison d' etre for the thread......soooooo.....for my part you are excuuuuuuused. Lets see what this week brings....Pierres predicted announcement????......more details re SEC settlement?????.....new research from Neil/paul/OluE.....Imprinta???? Hope you all had a happy Labor Day!!
