Allen, one can take any piece of info and twist to suit their argument. I've followed apple as an investor and user for many years. I don't see the halo effect. Take the next two qtrs to see whether I'm right or wrong. Also, many people won't switch over no matter what given how much S/W they already have on Windows. While I prefer OSX, Windows isn't as bad as many say it is. They just don't know how to use the system safely without getting screwed by viruses or trojan horses, worms and etc... I think the real switchers Apple would and should want are the corporate ones not only the home user. I haven't seen Apple making a compelling package to attract such switchers in droves. Yes OSX is great but the H/W is mucho expensive when compared. But I detract.... FYI I use both platforms but my preference is with OSX.
