What some fail to understand is that today's data point was a very important one. Today's data point was the 6th week with sufficient GW HDD to get a good feel for the demand response to GW HDD. After six weeks it is apparent that demand this Winter will be as strong as last Winters. This response to weather is after a year of heavy drilling (FLUSH production) and much higher prices. Dec/Jan prices this year are $1.50 mbtu more expensive than last year. So time to buy up, E&P's and land drillers have a long way to go to reflect $6 NG and $40 WTI. I have been reloading over the last few days and expect to have a decent gain on a round trip to recent highs.
