The alternative would be polIticians who don't believe in the 51% hate-filled dictatorship of the majority that parades its colors like a high school football team and demonizes everyone on the other side of the field in the visitors bleachers.

"I'm red, you're blue, we're so great and you're just pooh!" Or vice versa.

That's American politics today. Ridiculous childish rantings from the street corner to the Internet to the talk shows.

Convince me that it has achieved anything lately, except allowing the hardcore partisans to trick most of the electorate into believing they aren't getting screwed.
