Hi,
I'm brand new here. I've been trying to get the answers to a few questions about trading Canadian stocks. There's a man who posts his trades on Clear Station who buys and sells a fair number of Canadians. Several of his recent trades are shown above.
I've tried to contact him, but Clear Station doesn't really provide a way of doing this, so I've had no luck. Maybe you folks would know some or all of the answers?
1. This trader around $10,000 of every stock and he likes stocks under $5.00 for the most part and even under $1. So this means he's trading fairly large quantities. However, many of these are extremely thinly traded on the U.S. boards.
Look at the three stocks listed above. The official reported volume of each of these on the day he traded was zero! Yet he is selling between 3,055 and 4,445 shares of these stocks and the volume he generates never shows up. Why?
a. Is there any deep discount U.S. broker that has better access to the Canadian exchanges?
b. Which brokers do the people on this board use for their Canadian tradng?
2. He also goes short, and he often shorts stocks that are trading under $3.00! What broker allows this?
Thanks in advance for shedding any light on these mysteries.
Best, Lynn
