I wonder how long it will take Tech to be competitive in basketball. Hopefully the lure of the ACC will help with the recruitment. Seems like last time that Tech did anything was when I was there and they won the N.I.T. coming back from 11 down with just over two minutes to go to beat Notre Dame. Now that was exciting! It will take a while to get back to that level of play. By the way don't mention football for awhile. It was a great season and much more than I ever expected but with any luck at all VT would have beaten Auburn. I am pretty sure Beamer felt that way too. Totally frustrating!
