Oh, please. This is the same Iran to which conservative rightwingnuts Reagan and Ollie North tried to ship arms. Where was the screaming from the right then? If you're so concerned about Iran, perhaps you should have left Saddam in power and let him be the secular counter to Iran in the region - as the elder Bush correctly reasoned. What this event signaled was that George Soros and the American far left were ready to spend millions more supporting America's enemies, including radical Islamic extremists from a terror-supporting rogue state like Iran.
