I am saying that is doesn't matter whether he said it or not. And I freely admit he did not. What matters is that he said Saddam was a threat worthy of a preemptive strike and it has turned out that he wasn't. He was wrong. And while you can point to many that were also wrong it doesn't absolve him of the responsibility because he is the one that commanded the war.

Why don't you address the rest of my point?
