eliminate the rampant fraud that is being perpetrated within the system

My father-in-law died too slowly a while back. He was attended by a family physician of several decades.

On one particular day, we identified three separate charges of $xxx.00 each by that physician, which medicare paid most of. The Old Man recalled; the Dr. had come in and bullshat for a few minutes about gardening techniques those three times.

The Dr. wasn't really a crook: he'd been given a license to steal by a system devoid of market discipline.

Good intentions be damned, that is the fatal flaw in welfare medicine. To hell with it -- (except when I need that help).
