September will be a pivotal month for AIPN with a huge number of announcements expected. By the end of the month we should have news on the following:

---Announcement of major financing in the neighborhood of $15+ million.
---Two million dollar lien on refinery paid off
---Refinery re-tooling and upgrade completed
---Deal with Venezuela for the supply of crude to asphalt refinery
---Board of Directors shake-up with the resignation of a number of current members and the addition of others including two prominent Kazaks.
---The hiring of one or two former oil company execs to key positions at AIPN.
---The release of additional data concerning some of the as yet unevaluated structures in the concession.
---Redemption of those debentures that have a conversion date of October 6...unless stock is so high that conversion becomes the more desireable option.
---Some news re: partnership talks which may or may not have something to do with rumored Abu Dhabi interest in AIPN.

Of course, I do not expect all of the above to be addressed this month (although it is possible) but, if the announcements that do come down the pike this month are viewed as positive, I would expect the share price to rise nicely. Also, keep in mind that MED and Enterdynamics (one of the Kazak partners) stand to receieve AIPN equity (1.5 million shares) worth about $7.5 million "should the stock trade above $5/share for five consecutive trading days". Since the Kazaks seem to be key to this entire deal, it would follow that their interests are paramount...if the furtherance of their interests requires a share price of $5 then something tells me that, sooner or later, that will be the share price (at the minimum). Let's hope it's sooner rather than later.

Cheers...Faris
