I disagree. Your beliefs are totally relevant to who you are.

For about forty posts I was arguing that Bush's expression of his religious beliefs were irrelevant to my observation about his lack of inclusiveness. Whether or not they are relevant "to who you are" is irrelevant to the topic being discussed/beaten to death.

If you want to change topic and talk about the relevance of one's beliefs to who one is, fine, but leave out the segue because it is bogus. We are not disagreeing. We are simply addressing two different subjects.
