I'm still trying to calculate terminal velocity. It is the rotational axis, err, energy in a torque instead of a straight line, that is posing probs for me. I think I could assume a speed and a point the cable breaks then do a straight line calc from there. The 900 ft height should really help me get some distance in the event the cable would break.

I don't know if a bloody, pulpy, mess is an accurate description of what would be left. There would also be a lot of twisted metal and collateral damage. I'd be a 250lb rocket passing through windows, cars, people, eventually a sudden stop at a concrete pillar would occur I imagine. Wonder how far I could penetrate the concrete......

All that potential fun, or a sedate Paris buffet.... ;-)
