Interesting association here with Sysco as their distribution agent. Problem I forsee is the marketing effort. NHMCF will have to train and deploy a marketing force. This takes time and money to do. The customer's are quite sophisticated (medical facilities ,Hospitals,Clinics etc) all of whom will have to be addressed individually and a program of delivery's worked out against each particular facilities needs. Once set up it will require almost continuing monitoring to permit delivery adjustments to be made in a timely manner. The major HMO type groups are an obvious first target which the company could address with out incuring training expenses for new hires. The governemt (military,VA, etyc could also present a concentration of marketing effort. Will have to watch and see how they progress from this point on.
