Mark Francois resigned from his position as Director of Investor Relations with Quidel shortly before Christmas, 1996 to accept a similar position w/ another, much larger company in San Diego (Safeskin Corporation-SFSK). Mark told me at the time it was an offer he couldn't refuse. He still held some Qdel stock, though, the last time I spoke w/ him in the Spring of 1997.
