David, my reply was to your statement that people who make too much money to qualify for Medicaid could get treatment at ANY county hospital in America, and I am telling you those people do not get a free ride on the health care train. They are billed, and usually billed for substantially greater amounts than their insured counterparts. If they have property and/or wages and if they do not pay, liens and/or garnishments will be forthcoming.

Of course, advance payment arrangements can be made. That's another issue and not the one I was addressing in your post. - Holly
