OT Henry I guess what I am looking for is a diffusion map, perhaps animated. In the charts you have listed the time-series element is lost. They simply portray a moment in time. I want to see at a glance the dynamic quality of the disease across spatial and temporal lines. This is the only way to convince a clueless western layperson -- the two second blink of an eye approach. BTW congrats on your Steelers! Sam
