Had a couple come here and buy a nice home in Lakewood Ranch. It was about $ 260.000 But they got hit with high taxes and fees for a park the community was supporting.. as it is a new area and they are building schools etc... They sold and moved into an older neighborhood with just as nice a house but not as upscale a community, lower taxes and no assessments.

There are places to be found. One has to know the area and look around. Up the road from me a new development for seniors.. over 55... They have 800 remaining units to be built and 3000 on a weight list. They will do a lottery.
