It looks like it was an easy choice about which standard to support....WWiSE was requiring a RAND-Z (Reasonable and Non-discriminatory zero royalty) policy. wwise.org 64.233.167.104 I'm guessing that the Qualcomm representative breaks out in hives every time the topic is even brought up <g>....
