elmat, you miss the point why China cannot and will not sit as an equal with G7 for many years to come. It is not due to them -- the so-called "old guard", it is due to the fact that 4-5 Billions of poor Chinese farmers are among the poorest people on earth! And it will take decades to lift them up like the poor people live in G7. That is the point.
