There can be a million reasons why it may have suited them to but that doesn't mean they did. Indeed, it may suit me if the stock market comes down because I want to buy some shares, but by no stretch of the imagination will any sane person believe that I have the power to bring it down.

And unless you are one who believes that W can prevail upon God to carry out his wishes, and I am beginning to think you are, there is no way the US could have caused what happened on 26/12/04. Even bad guys can get lucky.
