YGM, could it be that we're in Molymania now..??

I read about big and small companies that mine copper looking into the production of molybdenum as a by-product. Maybe this is not so easily done but the economic incentive is certainly there to try. Amerigo for example is going to increase its quarter revenues by about 1/3 processing Moly from its copper product...assuming roughly current prices..In other words there seems to be some forthcoming increase in supply. Mania's don't usually last long under those circumstances...

On the otherhand there seems a big appetite for iron ore which suggests steel production will remain strong...Will demand for Moly keep up with what appears to me at least to be a trend towards greater supply.???

Nobody probably really knows ...but we'll find out...
