If we are serious about winning in Iraq, then Iran and Syria are the logical next step. They are both supporting the insurgency. King Jordan received from his intelligence sources a picture showing Iranian intelligence standing next to Zarqawi, who is known to have ties with Iran. It is clear that Syria is harboring ex-Baathists both Iran and Syria are funding the insurgency and providing logistical support.

So we have a choice: give up and come home or stay the course and perhaps go after Iran and Syria with covert ops and maybe an air war.

It scares the hell out of me how easily you are willing to expand a war that we are losing. It will be our undoing.
