Avonex will go from being the number one product in the market to number two. That is quite a statement. Between Jim Mullen saying BIIB's #1 product will go to #2, Lars Ekman's statements about Tysabri and AAB-001, and the 3 neurologists stating that 50% of MS market and nearly all of newly diagnosed patients will go to Tysabri, there isn't a lot of pessimism about Elan. Zeta was impressed with nanotech, too, which is reassuring to me. Am really curious what else is going on at Elan. Am back from Belgium. I am officially a big fan of Flanders and the Flemish. The most welcoming people I have yet met.
