Rhapsody on Intel machines

If Apple has huge success with Rhapsody, would this not cannabalize Apple's own hardware sales??. If Apple cannot even compete with the clones how will they compete with the likes of Compaq, Dell on a multi OS platform?? That's why they should plat to jettison their hardware in the future and concentrate on developing killer apps for their Rhapsody.

Apple got a great deal for Power Computing at $100 million. They can now direct market order which they lacked. I view this as a short-term positive news. They also get to kill off their most aggressive competitor.
