Probation officers wouldn't normally testify. They don't have any knowledge of material facts of an alleged crime. Exception might be if someone confessed to a probation officer.

In this case, I don't think the item was disputed. It was something about Tony not having to report his travel or his dealings with FBI agents to probation officer. If there had been a dispute, I suppose, the PO could have testified.
