Diaz Resources Ltd (2) (C-DZR) - News Release Diaz Resources completes drilling Hancock No. 1 well 2005-01-17 12:56 ET - News Release Shares issued 53,658,831 DZR.SV.A Close 2005-01-14 C$ 0.62 Mr. Robert Lamond reports DIAZ ANNOUNCES NEW WILCOX GAS WELL Diaz Resources Ltd. has completed the drilling and is setting pipe on the initial well on its Allen Ranch prospect, the Hancock No. 1 well. The well was drilled to a depth of 16,830 feet and is the sixth well drilled within the company's core properties within the Lower Wilcox trend in Colorado and Lavaca counties, Texas. The well encountered good porosity and high resistivity in four gas zones of interest, with prospective pay totalling 104 feet net. Production testing of the well is anticipated to commence within four weeks. Diaz has a 20-per-cent working interest in the well. We seek Safe Harbor.
