What does your quote mean exactly, average joe? I am tired after having a long weekend away, and somehow the meaning is not registering with me, probably due to the death of many brain cells. I could make an argument that it supports evolution OR creationism, so I know I must be confused. In Dasent’s words I would say: ‘We must be satisfied with the soup that is set before us, and not desire to see the bones of the ox out of which it has been boiled.’
