this was done to protect those Arabs from being eaten by their own people across the borders, ie being threatened to provide info or actually assist is Suicide bombings and other evils or have family members dismembered or worse for not complying, as well it removes a possible threat to the Jewish community from within........... always happy to assist others in comprehending difficult rulings or laws. regards
