I am not a lobbyist, nor do I have any connection to "big pharma" even as a shareholder (except as an owner of mutual funds and not ones that specialize in the pharmaceutical industry).

But even if I was a paid PR flak or lobbyist for the drug industry calling what I say "lobbyist propaganda" would not be an argument against it. Lobbyists and PR reps are not automatically wrong.

Big Pharma are Fat Cats! To think if you didn't pay those ridiculous costs that Big pharma would reduce research . lol!

Drug companies respond to economic incentives just like anyone else. Reduce the expected return on investment (including research) and you get less of it. Its a very simple non-controversial economic idea.
