Very good commentary Fillmore, And it poses a question I have thought about for years. re: "" How did a Christian doctrine of love and peace become an apology for war? "" Why does it seem, that most religious are also the most militaristic? I think I know, it is IMO, because it is a "belief". And people will fight to the death for a "belief" because it really can't be proved or disproved. In most major religions this seems to be the case. So what does organized religion accomplish? I don't know. I just don't know. And that brings up a point, that I 'believe' in <g>. A person or society will never bring another under their 'belief system' at the point of a gun or a knife. c
