at the bottom, there is this note from Tad:

In a note the following day, Wells Fargo analyst Tad LaFountain sounded a bullish sentiment recommending that investors pick up the shares on the weakness.

"All those investors who missed one of the best-performing stocks in the group in 2004 now have an opportunity to acquire the shares at a price much lower than they were just a few weeks ago-despite the fact that the oft-cited concerns about AMD's exposure to a commodity memory business have just been mollified by a sharp repegging of that portion of the business," wrote LaFountain, who maintained his "buy" rating on the stock.
