"IS" China Important to Future MO Pricing??

Answer, YOU BET....And here's why....Statistics show Japan Steel Industry depends on more than 90% of Molybdenum consumption by import, mainly from China... China, which supplies around one third of approx. 300 Million pounds of World demand, is losing export capacity under strong domestic demand... Japanese trading firms and other sources have stated that China is set to consider Molybdenum export restrictions by quota or export license system, which could have a major impact on world supply....By placing a floor price of $32.00 /lb on Moly, China is restricting or directing "Internal" Moly production towards it's own Internal Use AND raising the cost of Moly to it's Stainless Steel Producing Competitors, (World Wide) thereby making China's Stainless Steel more cheaply produced for in country use and higher margin export profits... If China can sell cheaper S Steel they gain market share of World Stainless Steel sales...

NOW DO YOU SEE WHY MOLY IS GOING TO STAY RELATIVELY HIGH AND STEEL MANUFACTURERS ARE LOOKING FOR PURE MOLY SOURCES...YGM
