Let talk about our feelings. Now you are writing negatively. One has only to accept responsibility for one's actions. Blame is subjective. When I see a friend engaged in self destructive behavior, I want to slap them too. Or shake, or whatever it takes. I heard a story about a famous author and his son (I don't recall who) failing in his attempts to drag their calf into the barn. The young Irish maid came out and stuck her finger in the calf's mouth and led it into the barn suckling on it. What wanted to dose your friend with prozak means is that you care about her. You want to see her address the issues in her life. Or maybe that you have a little Irish temper your tired of her tweaking. When I engage in unacceptable behavior I try to stop and criticize the behavior and then take a minute to praise myself. This is right out of the ONE MINUTE ... series.
